Update: This is Not Pleasant Hill in Mansfield, TN
Also known as
Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Dumpling Hill Cemetery is located just
outside of Paris, TN, to the east of Henry, TN in rural
Henry County and it has it's reputation as being haunted as
most cemeteries.
The story is said to have been a slave supposedly
committed some kind of crime. As it's not sure as to what crime
was committed, however it didn't really matter. Justice was
virtually nonexistent for African-Americans in the U.S. during
the early to mid-1800s. After being sentenced for his "crime," the
slave was punished in the same way most convicted
African-Americans were: he was hanged. After being hanged, his
body was buried in Dumpling Hill Cemetery.
If anyone knows the man's name

People now because of the slave that was hung it is said
that the ghost of this man now
walks the graveyard at night, and will chase away any visitor
after dark. Several people have reported being startled away.
So stay away from Dumpling Hill Cemetery after dark, or you
might see something you don't want to see!
